The Headless Dog Picture Went Viral: Many Can’t Believe Their Sight

A photograph that appears to be of a headless dog has caused controversy in the older community.

A snapshot of the Internet that has people thinking about the subject is being created. Its initial appearance—as a decapitated dog—explains the general concern among citizens. It’s one that will require you to take multiple double-takes in order to understand what is happening in the picture.

It’s not as serious as you might first think, though. And we sincerely appreciate that!

The picture was uploaded to Imgr, where it spread like wildfire. And it’s clear why. Thousands of times the original image received views and votes.

But, it was actually evidence that attention needed to be paid to the image. As a result of surgery, a little child had to have his lower leg amputated. The photograph was taken as a result of his owner taking a photo of him as he turned to lick his side. Someone was able to clearly explain how the photograph occurred by drawing a flowchart in order to allay people’s concerns.
